Savannah forum gathers 36 private-club leaders for peer-led strategy

The tenth annual MASTERMIND Forum opens at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club with an invitation-only unconference format.

A tightly limited group of private-club general managers, chief operating officers and chief executives is meeting in Savannah from September 13 through 15 for the tenth annual MASTERMIND Forum.

The Landings Golf & Athletic Club is hosting the program, which is capped at 36 attendees. Its unconference structure replaces a conventional stage-heavy agenda with participant-led discussion of operating problems and proven practices.

Invited club leaders can also earn professional continuing-education credit, while spouses and partners are included in the hospitality program. The format places peer access and candid conversation ahead of scale.

For luxury clubs, the event reflects a durable leadership trend: small-group exchanges can deliver more practical value than broad conferences when operators need to compare service standards, governance choices and member expectations in confidence.
